Being sore is your bodies way of thanking you for using it to its best abilities. The next time you sit down on the pot and your legs speak up, tell them they're welcome and smile at the service you did for your quads.
I just had that experience right before I read this. Today sitting on the pot has been the most wonderfully painful feeling. You're welcome legs and calves!
Today was easy, mostly because I've chosen to stick with the middle column even though I did enough to qualify for the most challenging column.
I was able to bang out all of the push-ups in about 3 minutes rather than spacing them out a bunch. I also did 14 push-ups for my max out at the end. Those felt good. :)
I still feel comfortable with my choice to go easier. I think this will give me a better chance at success by keeping me from burning out on the program too quickly. How'd you do? ;)
Day 2
My second day should have landed on Sunday but I don't like working out on Sunday and I was zonked on that day. I completed day 2 late last night and it was hard.
For my last set, the max out set, I only eeked out 10. I don't know if it was because it was late or what but boy, rough go last night.
